The quote covers refrigerant recovery, isolation, removal of the named units and disposal. - Air conditioning removal: from £450 - Weathered and corroded condensers can take more time to free from their fixings. - Each extra indoor unit adds recovery time and lifting. - High or awkward positions are reflected in the quote the survey produces. - Access to mounting points and pipework affects dismantling and removal. ## Air conditioning removal across Canvey Island We serve Canvey Island from our base in Stanford-le-Hope. - Furtherwick - Leigh Beck - Dutch Village - Winter Gardens - Thorney Bay - Labworth - Canvey Heights - Eastern Esplanade - SS8 ## What happens on the day The visit runs from the survey plan: confirm what is coming out, make it safe, then take it away. ### Confirm the actual system On the day, the engineer checks every unit and run against the survey: pipework, isolation points, fixings and how each item will be reached and carried out. ### Recover then isolate Refrigerant is pulled into a recovery cylinder and the electrics are made safe. Dismantling only starts once both are done. ### Off the wall and away Listed units, brackets and accessible pipework are unbolted and loaded for disposal, including condensers whose fixings have weathered into place. ## Canvey Island removal questions ### Our condenser is seized with rust. Can you still remove it? Yes. Corrosion slows the job rather than stopping it: once recovery and isolation are done, weathered fixings are freed with the right tools and the unit comes off its bracket. ### Does making good come with the removal? Work like plastering, brickwork, roofing and decoration is priced as its own item so the removal figure stays clean. ### What happens to the old units? They leave site with us. Disposal of the equipment listed in your quote is part of the job, so nothing stays on site for you to store or arrange a collection for. ### Can we keep the pipework for a future unit? Sound, accessible pipework can stay capped in place if a replacement system would reuse it; the quote marks which runs remain. Anything else accessible comes away with the units. ### Do you need the power off for the whole house? Only the circuit feeding the air conditioning is isolated. The rest of the property keeps its supply while the system is made safe and removed. ## Other services in Canvey Island - [Air conditioning in Canvey Island](https://www.perenniaclimate.co.uk/air-conditioning-canvey-island): Air conditioning on Canvey Island, SS8, with Perennia Climate Services.
