The recharge stays off the quote until the findings are written down. Perennia Climate Services, based in Stanford-le-Hope, measures air conditioning in Rayleigh for a short refrigerant charge, from Rayleigh Weir to Downhall, and keeps the recharge off the quote until the findings are written down. ## Rayleigh leak check price Rayleigh is quoted for diagnosis alone. The number moves with the condenser at Rayleigh Weir or on Rayleigh High Street, the access at Downhall or Wheatley, and how many checks SS6 actually allows. The finding is what you leave with. A repair and any recharge are a second quote. - Air conditioning regas and leak repair: Price on request - Rayleigh Weir and Downhall do not have refrigerant added on a diagnosis visit. - Pipe hidden at Wheatley, Grange or the Rayleigh castle mound is outside this price. - A Rayleigh repair part waits for its own quote, written after the finding. ## Air con regas and leak check across Rayleigh We serve Rayleigh from our base in Stanford-le-Hope. - Rayleigh High Street - Rayleigh Weir - Downhall - Wheatley - Grange - Rayleigh castle mound - SS6 ## What happens on the day A Rayleigh leak visit begins outside, at the condenser in Rayleigh Weir, Wheatley or Grange. We note the refrigerant name and whether the charge looks low, then move to the indoor unit and the pipe that is visible. Wheatley, Grange and the Rayleigh castle mound only get the checks the access allows. Nothing is added to the system on this visit. ### Outside at Rayleigh Weir The condenser is where the refrigerant name and the service ports usually sit. At Rayleigh Weir, Downhall or on Rayleigh High Street we read what is printed and see whether those ports are safe to open. The checks follow from that, rather than from the outward code alone. ### Indoors at Wheatley and Grange The indoor unit and the visible pipe are looked over for oil or a joint that has been disturbed. Wheatley, Grange and Downhall are covered the same way. A tester is brought out only when that look gives a joint worth aiming at. ### The Rayleigh finding The checks and the finding are said out loud before recharge is mentioned. A low charge can lead to a repair quote and a recharge quote, limited to pipe we could inspect in Grange or at the Rayleigh castle mound. We will not fill a system that is still short. ## Rayleigh refrigerant questions ### Do you diagnose a short refrigerant charge in Rayleigh? Yes. Perennia Climate Services travels from Stanford-le-Hope through SS6: Rayleigh Weir, Rayleigh High Street, Downhall, Wheatley, Grange and the Rayleigh castle mound. Recharge is a later quote, after the finding. ### Will a Downhall system be recharged on the spot? No. A low charge is a symptom. At Downhall or Rayleigh Weir we establish why before recharge has a figure. Putting gas in to mask the loss is refused on this visit. ### What happens at the Rayleigh castle mound? We read the condenser label, look at visible pipe and joints, and use a tester where that look gives us a target. The Rayleigh castle mound, Grange and Wheatley set how far the access goes. ### Does diagnosis include the repair in Rayleigh? Diagnosis stops at the finding. The repair, any part and a recharge are a second quote if the pipe was visible in Wheatley or on Rayleigh High Street. ### What should be ready at Rayleigh Weir? A photo of the condenser label if you can take one, the indoor unit's make, and a few words on the rooms. That lets us choose the SS6 checks before we set off for Rayleigh Weir or Downhall. ## Other services in Rayleigh - [Air conditioning in Rayleigh](https://www.perenniaclimate.co.uk/air-conditioning-rayleigh): Air conditioning installation, repair and servicing in Rayleigh, SS6 with Perennia Climate Services.
